Thank you Ashley! I must say I needed that too. I am now fed up with the cold weather. That’s why I postet that picture…it’s from May last year and should make us hope for the spring. 🙂
What a beautiful idea!! I love orchids. These plants are perfect for people who travel a lot. I put them once a week in a big water bowl. That’s enough. No more watering. They blossom over and over again. I love it! 🙂
Yes! A year or so ago, I saw the most beautiful orchids in a store — small yellow blossoms that grew in a tangle of stems without any soil at all — they were just wound around themselves inside a huge glass hurricane. I wish I knew what they were!
I love your photographs and work. I’m not sure if you’ve been to my blog, http://www.michadam.wordpress.com, which I think you’d love. It’s a Journey of Spirit and Healing. I love your sight as a former professional photographer myself. I look forward to seeing more.
Hi Michelle…and thank you so much for stopping by! I’m really honoured to hear that you like my work. I look forward to visit your blog! Thank you! 🙂
That’s true, the background figure is really unsettling….for me it was a very interesting contrast in the middle of a sunny beach day: not everything is glittering and the shadows are near.
great.

Oh, heavens. I feel like I’m there … And in this drizzly gray cold, I needed that! 🙂

Ahh, I totally understand!!
Whenever the gray starts to get to me, a buy a flame-orange orchid and put it in my kitchen window. Color therapy! 🙂

Fascinating. The group of them can be so diverse.

this photo makes me think of Koudelka . . . the focus on the background figure is unsettling (that’s a good thing)
