    • Thank you Ashley! I must say I needed that too. I am now fed up with the cold weather. That’s why I postet that picture…it’s from May last year and should make us hope for the spring. 🙂

        Whenever the gray starts to get to me, a buy a flame-orange orchid and put it in my kitchen window. Color therapy! 🙂

      • What a beautiful idea!! I love orchids. These plants are perfect for people who travel a lot. I put them once a week in a big water bowl. That’s enough. No more watering. They blossom over and over again. I love it! 🙂

      • Yes! A year or so ago, I saw the most beautiful orchids in a store — small yellow blossoms that grew in a tangle of stems without any soil at all — they were just wound around themselves inside a huge glass hurricane. I wish I knew what they were!

        Fascinating. The group of them can be so diverse.

    • That’s true, the background figure is really unsettling….for me it was a very interesting contrast in the middle of a sunny beach day: not everything is glittering and the shadows are near.
